Corowa Golf Club is nestled on the Murray River, in the heart of the Rutherglen wine district with a 27-hole championship golf course, pro shop, modern clubhouse, luxury cinema and a 35 room motel. All aspects of our Club operate 7 days a week, including the newest edition to our Club, the Federation Cinema.
CASUAL HOSPITALITY STAFF
As we come to our busiest time of the year we have multiple opportunities for enthusiastic, energetic customer service focused casual bar, gaming and reception staff wishing to join a supportive team.
These positions require you to have a current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG), a current Drivers Licence, as well as the flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
If you are immaculately presented, have exceptional communication skills with a natural flair for providing outstanding customer service, then we’d love to hear from you. Previous experience in hospitality would be highly regarded.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Duty Manager to join our fast-growing Club in the full-time role (38 hours a week) of Duty Manager. The right candidate must be professional, have a strong focus on customer service, have a great work ethic, a love of local products, and have a willingness to take ownership of all aspects of the position to ensure that our Members & Guests receive excellent service.
Job tasks and responsibilities
•Your role would be to run the bar in conjunction with the Bar Manager, be a leader and team motivator.
•Customer service and connection – be the face of the bar & lead by example with a hands-on approach
•Stock control, ordering, rostering, organising entertainment, monitoring of systems, maintaining standards.
•Staff training – establish and maintain training in exceptional service knowledge
•Instigate sales and promotion of products and training all staff to do so
Skills and experience
•Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work hands on, and lead by example
•Organised and efficient with a high attention to detail
•Previous experience in team leadership; and running a bar
•Understanding the back of house operations of the bar from keg room to ordering
•Strong sales approach and passion for driving and generating business
•Be able to handle pressure and assist staff to be their best
•Be able to work nights, weekends and public holidays as required
•Be passionate about a career in hospitality
•Have a proven ability to think “outside the box”
•TAB, KENO and gaming machine operations is essential
•Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
