Corowa Golf Club has numerous policies and procedures in place to ensure our members and visitors feel safe and comfortable at all times.
Responsible Service of Gaming – Every person is different when it comes to gambling. Consider your gambling behaviours with the following in mind: Set a limit on your funds, Have a plan, Don’t get caught in the moment. Responsible Service of Alcohol – By Law, it is an offence to sell or supply any liquor to any person who is, at the time, in a state of intoxication. The state of intoxication can be described as a state in which, through intoxicating liquor, a person has severely lost the normal control of their bodily and mental faculties. Management and staff have the right to deny the sale of alcohol to any person they feel may be intoxicated or may be becoming intoxicated. Management and staff also have the right to deny entry into the premises, or ask any person to leave the premises, if they feel that person is intoxicated. This policy will be adopted by all staff and management in the best interests of all patrons. We provide low alcohol drinks. We provide non-alcohol drinks.
There is no allowance of under age drinking. We sell food where alcohol is served/purchased.

Entry
Visitors are always welcome at Corowa Golf Club.
Visitors are required to show identification and sign in as a temporary member when entering the Club. It is a requirement of the Registered Clubs Act that all visitors to a registered club provide identification when signing in.
The main requirements of dress regulations are that clothing worn is clean, neat and tidy in appearance.

Members visitors are asked to wear suitable attire and observe acceptable course etiquette.

Unacceptable
- Singlets
- Strapless tops
- Football / Sports shorts
- Thongs / heeled shoes
- Work boots
General Conduct
Members and guests are expected to act in an appropriate manner, on and off the golf course. We are committed to the responsible serving of alcohol. If you are not meeting these requirements, you will be asked to leave.
Extreme Weather Warnings & Guidelines
The decision of an individual to play golf in extreme heat (38 degrees and above) is solely the individual’s decision and Corowa Golf Club accepts no responsibility for that decision or any impact it may have on the individual’s health. Should a golf elect to withdraw from a daily competition or a tournament due to extreme heat, no penalty will apply and a refund can be requested.
The following guidelines have been adapted from the Golf Australia guidelines and the Sports Medicine guidelines.
Factors which impact on the body’s ability to disipate heat:
- High ambient temperature
- Solar radiation
- Humidity
- Dehydration
The following are recommendations only, but may assist:
- Avoid dehydration by drinking plenty of water
- Wear lightweight, light coloured and loose fitting clothing made from natural fibres
- Wear protective headwear
- Apply suncreen with an SPF rating of 50+ and reapply every two hours
The Corowa Golf Club provides complimentary
- Drinking water fountains on holes 1, 6, 10, 15, 19 and 24
- Suncreen is available at holes 1, 10
